CAM3 cooled anode modulator triode

This valve measures 700x170mm overall (68mm across the glass). The anode measures 350x50mm.

This is a liquid cooled anode triode suitable for use as a modulator. For water cooling a flow of 3 to 4 gallons per minute is required. The filament seals also require air cooling. See also CAT3

Filament voltage17.0V
Filament current70A approx
Max anode voltage *12kV
Max continuous anode dissipation12kW
Total emission3 to 7A at 90% saturation
Amplification factor **6.5
Anode impedance **1k ohms

*: 10kV max when used in an amplifier to modulate high frequency currents
**: At Va=11kV, Vg=-1500
Repaired stamp
Markings indicate this valve has been repaired. Additionally, markings indicate that a filament voltage of 17.8V gives 7A emission at 90% saturation. The serial number is 1308.
