Like all of us I receive a great deal of SPAM. it is sometimes difficult to spot the genuine messages amongst all the junk so my appologies if I do not reply to your e-mail. If I do not do so in a short time (say a week maximum) please send your message again as it may have been trapped in my spam filters for some reason. Please try to put a subject in as most messages with no subject are simply junked. The filters are pretty good and I keep them up to date but nothing is 100% and it might make the odd mistake.
I handle SPAM as aggressively as time permits. I use a filter which peels off the vast majority and so I never even see it. Of that which gets through, some is either trapped as 'maybe' SPAM and the rest ends up in my in-box. Of these, I always send a report to Spamcop. I am not listing my setup here for obvious reasons but if you are interested then e-mail me. Of the 300 or so e-mails my mailer receives every day, about 275 are SPAM and are blocked automatically, another 10 or so are flagged as 'maybe's and usually only one or two get through to my in-box.
